Formed in 1933, the West Suburban Association of Plumbing Contractors is comprised of Union plumbing contractors signatory with Chicago Journeyman’s Plumbers’ Local 130 U.A.

The WSA serves its membership by fostering and maintaining a cooperative, collaborative relationship with its union partners. WSA members are represented by association member trustees who serve on the Plumbers Pension Fund, Plumbers Welfare Fund, and Joint Apprentice Committees.

Chicago Plumbing Material Pilot Program extended through December 31, 2018
The Department of Buildings is pleased to announce that the 6-month plumbing materials pilot program, which was announced in October 2017, is now extended through December 31, 2018, so that the Department may gather additional data. During the initial period, the Department received and processed almost 200 requests. For more information about the pilot program, including forms and application instructions, please visit the Alternative Code Approval page.
