Statistics show that nationwide almost 10% of employees use drugs in the workplace. That is why WSA and Local Union 130 have formed a partnership to address the problems caused by drug and alcohol abuse.
The purpose of the Drug-Free WSA Alliance (or WSA Alliance), which is administered by CDS Services, Inc., is to help establish and maintain a workplace free of the destructive effects caused by the use of drugs and alcohol.
All WSA contractors and their employees are participants in this program.

Engaging with other members and industry representatives is one of WSA’s biggest benefits. We like to think of it as relationship-building with a purpose. From membership meetings to the WSA Golf Outing to CEO Camp, you can connect with other members as often as you choose to participate.
Through WSA-sponsored events, you’re also provided with an opportunity to exchange ideas and share best practices. Plus, you have access to timely information on what’s important to contractors: code changes, legislative updates, union news, and more.
The Member Directory provides contact information for every member in WSA. Simply click on the member’s name or company for details.
Have a Say … Join a Committee
WSA is always looking for members to participate in Committees — Safety and Education. It’s a great way to network with peers and have a say in programming. For information, contact Jay Lyon, WSA’s Executive Director at jay@wsacontractors.org.
